Hello, I have succesfully been able to mod the MacDrive Installer to support Windows 7. It works just as well as it would on XP or Vista. This is perfect for Mac users using Bootcamp with Windows 7. I have not included any cracks, serial, keygen with this file. You must have a serial or you will be presented with a 30 day trial. Download link after the break.

PLease make a windows 7 version of Macdrive that is compatable with Windows 7 32bit. I desperately need a solution to this and would be a fan for life if you could help me with this!
PLease email and thanks for running a great site!

I am trying to make one, I will let you know when its ready.
In the meantime, the following works for me on 3 macs — x86 and x64, using macdrive 7.2.5 with Windows 7:
1. Modify .msi as many have explained in other forums.
2. Install it, reboot.
3. HERE IS THE KEY: Install Ext2Fsd 0.46 (which should include Ext2Mgr 2.26).
4. Run Ext2 Volume Manager, assign a drive letter to the MacOS HFS partition, and check the box to make it permanent.
5. Reboot
6. The end. My MacOSX partition lives as D: and stays as such. It has worked flawlessly for me since day 1.
I really hope this helps everyone who wants to run macdrive under Windows 7.
Wow thanks a bunch, i think that save a lot time for people.
Hmm.. this installs, but bombs out and rolls back during the install.
I had this before, and cant remember how i got around it….
I too have a modded version, and i seem to remember that i had to install one, then upgrade… unfortunatley I have stored them on the macdrive!
Doh!
Any thoughts?
This is very, very strange but I’m experiencing EXACTLY what Paddy above is. I had downloaded & installed this Installation a few months ago on my Windows 7 64-bit RC and it worked absolutely perfect.
This week I had to reformat & rebuild my PC due to some hard drive issues. Now when I install this file, it reaches the end of the installation and then does a “Rolling back…” and gives a “MacDrive could be installed due to an error”.
I don’t understand this. How come the same exact file that was installing on the same exact platform earlier, refuses to do so now!!! Baffling!!!
@luci5r I am going to update this post and more info soon, I know the problem.
Thank you so much!!!
Awaiting your next post.
thank you!!!!!!
thanks a lot man for this ! cheers
